This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development.

Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.

This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director.

English Language Requirements

Where an applicant’s first and primary language is English, the applicant must provide evidence of English being the main national language of their country of origin on their passport.  

International students must be able to demonstrate at a minimum, the following English language capabilities:  

  • IELTS (Academic) overall band score of 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in each module); or  

Any one of the following:  

  • Educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or   
  • Completed at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO; or   
  • the student has successfully completed Upper Intermediate (General English) or higher certificate from a CRICOS registered English language training provider.  

*Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. Students are required to provide their results so that it can be confirmed they are equivalent to IELTS 6.0 

Future Pathways

Employment Pathway:  

After successful completion of the course, students may gain employment in a variety of employment options. Occupational titles may include, but are not limited to: 

  • RTO Manager
  • RTO Director; and
  • Academic Manager
  • Career Development Manager (Education Sector) 

Study Pathway 

Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into such courses such as: 

  • Master of Education OR 
  • Master of Teaching OR 
  • Master of Business Administration OR equivalent qualification
Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) Skills

TasCollege conducts the LLND test using LLN Robot during the orientation to assess the students’ support requirements during their course. For those students who do not meet the required LLN benchmarks at specific AQF levels, LLN Robot generates and provides supplementary documents and additional support tailored to each student’s needs. Students are required to complete the supplementary documents and submit them to the Academic Manager. 

A student is deemed competent in the digital aspect of the LLND requirement upon successfully completing the LLN Robot test using a computer. This ensures they have demonstrated the necessary digital skills, such as logging into a computer, using email for communication, and navigating websites to complete forms and exams, which are essential for their academic success at TasCollege. 

Additional support is provided to students by the TasCollege student support team to gain the skills they need to succeed in their training, demonstrating our commitment to helping everyone learn, and ensuring that each student is well supported in their educational aspirations. 

Application & Enrolment Process
 
  • Complete student application form and provide required documents.
  • If approved, offer letter with a student agreement will be issued.
  • Sign and acknowledge the terms and return the student agreement to TasCollege.
  • Pay your tuition fees as per the agreed schedule on the agreement.
  • Once payment is received, TasCollege will issue you a Confirmation of Enrolment.
  • Attend orientation, complete LLN (Language Literacy and Numeracy) test, and officially commence your course.

Recognition Process
